My name is Liz, and I’m a qualified nutritionist and health coach.
I offer straightforward advice and support to reduce your overwhelm and frustration with ‘healthy eating’ that either doesn’t work or that you simply can’t sustain.
Here’s my angle: metabolic health is improved by eating the way our bodies have evolved to eat. We don’t need to count calories or eat like cave-people to achieve better health - it’s a matter of moving away from the standard modern diet of highly processed, high carbohydrate, chemical-laden foods towards more nutrient-dense wholefoods.
Eating a lower carb, wholefood-based diet is simple, satisfying, and reduces cravings without sacrificing flavour or variety. It is known to be beneficial for glycemic (blood sugar) control and weight management.
However, improving your diet is never as simple as it sounds because it’s not just about changing behaviour - it’s about changing habits. Plus there are no doubt other factors at play when it comes to your metabolic health. Maybe you need to take a deep dive into your habits around movement/exercise, sleep and stress. Let me explore these areas with you and support you to make changes to your diet and lifestyle that can have profound and lasting effects on your health.
